Military mail, parcels

Via Austrian Post, you can send items to military post offices abroad and you can post items at these military post offices.

From Austria:

 

Items sent from Austria to military post offices abroad:

  • Parcels weighing up to 20 kg may be sent (rectangular, maximum dimensions: L 100 cm x W 60 cm x H 60 cm).

  • In addition to standard postage, the Austrian road toll surcharge will be charged for every parcel. No additional services are available for these parcels.

  • When exporting goods to third countries, relevant customs regulations and export restrictions apply.

  • For sending a field post item to a non‑EU country, a completed customs declaration form is required. You can fill out this form at any post office branch or directly online. The postal code to be entered is that of the respective field post office, and the destination country must be indicated as the country in which the field post office is located. Please also follow the applicable customs regulations and import restrictions.

  • Furthermore, note that the CN23 form does not include an address label, so the addressing of the shipment must still be carried out separately.
